Tackle It Tuesday~Pots and Pans

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

My Pot and Pan cupboard had been a source of irritation to many. Me... I have mommy brain, so I just really didn't care at the time. I figured it was going to get messy again any way. But I needed to show some care and consideration to others living in my household. ;-)

So, at Target, I found this little handy dandy thingamajig:

Thing is, I bought it thinking it would hold my "pots" not "pans". So I brought it home all excited that there was some solution to my problem. Well a few of my "pots" didn't fit. But MOST of them did. Yippie!!

I turned the thingamajig on it's side, rather than straight up and down.

Here is my before picture.

You can tell, I "really" didn't care. Many of my friends think I am "Martha Stewart" because I like to make whole wheat bread, and decorate cakes, and sew, and stuff. But there are some areas in my life that is weak. ;-)

So....Here is the after:

See my neat little areo pointing to my "pot" rack? Nifty, huh?

Also, my closet got a good cleaning, but I didn't take any before and after pictures of that. Besides, that is a bit way too personal for me to share. ;-)

Isn't it funny what people think of us because of the things we do? And they think every part of our lives are in order because of it? I love the TT because it makes me feel normal - everyone has areas in their lives that are messy!
I get aggravated at my cabinet with pots and pans too. I have to get in there and deal with it every now and then. I don't think one of those would fit in my cabinet, but it looks like a great idea.
Great job on your tackle!

heather.. that really is nifty. my pots and pans are a disaster, and it's so depressing to even open that cupboard. my problem is that it's millen's job to put away the clean dishes. she knows what cupboards everything belong in but doesn't have a sense of how to properly stack things that aren't the same size.. know what i mean? as a result, things in there tend to get very jumbled, very fast...

we also tend to lose the odd dish now and then, but that's a subject for another day;)

All my pots and pans stay jumbled up most of the time. It bothers my husband waaay more than me... and he doesn't even cook, lol! BUT.... he does do a lot of dish-washing, so maybe I should try out that thing you bought, just to please him! :)
